Your lineage is never reduced by a fee
Processing costs land on the admin components, never on your money. The center is credited the full lineage on every payment, and it comes out first — not what is left over after everyone else is paid.
The prize fund is not your liability
It never sits in your account and is never yours to balance. Officers keep full visibility of it throughout, which is exactly what USBC asks for — so the league stays properly bonded and your staff stay out of the middle.
One console, every league
A center runs roughly 22 leagues a year across four seasons. Each league’s money is kept completely separate, so fall Tuesday night and summer Thursday night never touch each other — and you see all of them in one place.
The desk keeps working offline
League night does not stop because the Wi-Fi did. The terminal queues everything locally and catches up when it reconnects, and it cannot double-charge a bowler even if it has to try twice.
Center-selectable policy
You set the rules, once.
Every one of these is a question that eventually reaches the front desk, and every one has a different right answer at a different center. So none is hard-coded — each is a setting you own, applied consistently to every league you run, which means the desk gives the same answer in March as it did in October.

This distinction matters more than it sounds. Assessing dues does not credit the prize fund — only settled money does. So an unpaid week never inflated the fund, and the balance a league sees has been honest the whole season. Nobody is printing a prize list backed by debts.
What you get instead is the difference: what the season would have collected if every bowler had paid, against what it actually holds — attributed to the weeks and bowlers concerned, and split into what is still collectable and what has been closed out. Money missing because a seat was simply empty is shown separately, because nobody owes that, and listing it beside real balances would misrepresent a bowler who paid everything they were asked for.
Getting started
Bring one league across first.
Pick a league, roster it, and run a night. The desk terminal is two taps per bowler, and nothing about how your staff collect money changes. If it does not hold up on a real league night, it does not deserve the other twenty-one.
